What wedding planning services does Jackson & June Events offer?

Jackson & June Events offers three packages for couples in Athens, GA, Atlanta, GA, and across the Southeast. Event Management (month-of coordination) starts at $3,000 and is ideal for couples who have handled the planning themselves but want a professional team to execute the wedding day. Partial Planning is $6,000 and includes design concept curation, vendor recommendations, and four planning sessions alongside full day-of coverage. Full Service Planning starts at $12,000 (10% of overall wedding budget) and covers everything from vendor sourcing and budget management to invitation assembly, hotel blocks, rehearsal dinner planning, and complete wedding weekend coordination. All packages include a personalized planning portal, timeline creation, and a dedicated team on wedding day.

How much does a wedding planner in Athens, GA cost?

At Jackson & June Events, wedding planning in Athens, GA starts at $3,000 for Event Management (month-of coordination). Partial Planning is $6,000. Full Service Planning begins at $12,000 and includes some custom pricing depending on the overall wedding weekend budget. All packages include a dedicated lead planner or coordinator, a planning portal, timeline creation, and on-site execution on wedding day. Add-on services like content creation, coaching calls, and stationery printing are also available.

What is the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?

A wedding coordinator (sometimes called a month-of coordinator or event manager) steps in during the final weeks before your wedding to execute the plans you've already made. They handle timeline creation, vendor communication, rehearsal coordination, and day-of logistics. A full-service wedding planner manages the entire process from the moment you get engaged: sourcing and booking vendors, managing your budget, curating your design, and serving as your primary point of contact throughout the planning process. Jackson & June offers both, plus a middle-ground Partial Planning option for couples who want to stay involved but need professional support and design guidance along the way.

Jackson & June Events has coordinated weddings at venues across Athens and Atlanta, including Summerour Studio, The Chapel Athens, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, Biltmore Ballrooms, and Georgian Hall, among many others. Our team has deep relationships with venue coordinators, preferred vendor networks, and local vendors across the Athens and Atlanta markets, which means we can advocate for you effectively and anticipate venue-specific logistics before they become wedding day surprises.

What venues in Athens and Atlanta does Jackson & June Events work with regularly?

For Full Service Planning, we recommend booking 12–18 months before your wedding date, especially for peak season weekends (spring and fall in Georgia). Partial Planning clients typically book 9–12 months out, as the design phase begins 9 months before the wedding date. Event Management clients can book as close as 3–6 months out, though popular dates fill quickly, so we recommend 6-12 months out to be safe. Once your retainer is paid, your date is locked on our calendar and onboarding begins immediately.

How far in advance should I hire a wedding planner in Athens or Atlanta, GA?

Full Service Planning at Jackson & June Events covers the entire wedding planning process from start to finish. This includes budget setting and management, personalized vendor matching and acquisition, all vendor communication and coordination, monthly planning sessions with your lead planner, event design concept curation and execution, invitation assembly and mailing, hotel block creation, welcome bag design and delivery, wedding weekend activity research, guest transportation coordination, rehearsal dinner planning, and complete wedding day execution with a lead planner, designer, assistant, and bride buddy on site. It is designed for couples who want to hand off the process entirely and simply show up to their wedding.

What does Full Service Wedding Planning actually include?

A Bride Buddy is a dedicated Jackson & June team member whose only job on your wedding day is to take care of you. While your lead coordinator is managing vendors, the timeline, and logistics behind the scenes, your Bride Buddy stays by your side, keeping you on schedule, handling any personal needs, and making sure your morning and day run smoothly. The Bride Buddy add-on is included in Partial Planning and Full Service packages, and is available as an add-on for Event Management clients for $300. Based on client feedback, it's one of the most appreciated parts of the Jackson & June experience.

What is a Bride Buddy and do I need one?

Yes. While Athens, GA and Atlanta, GA are our primary service areas, we love to travel and regularly work with couples across the Southeast. Favorite destination markets include Madison, GA, Lake Oconee, GA, North Georgia mountains, Augusta, GA, Savannah, GA, Charleston, SC, Nashville, TN, and Tampa, FL. If you're planning a destination wedding or getting married at a venue outside of our home markets, reach out! We'd love to talk through what that looks like.

Does Jackson & June Events travel outside of Athens and Atlanta?

The first step to fill out the Inquiry Form, then you'll be prompted to schedule a free consultation call. We'll get to know each other, talk through your wedding vision, and figure out which package is the right fit. After the call, we'll send a customized proposal and contract. To secure your date, a one-third non-refundable retainer is due at signing. The second payment is due six months before your wedding, and the final balance is due one week out. Once your retainer is paid, you're officially on the J+J calendar and onboarding begins. You can book a consultation at jacksonandjune.com.
