Romantic Summerour Studio Wedding in Atlanta, Georgia

Caroline and Jake’s Summerour Studio wedding was the perfect blend of romantic design, organic textures, and elevated energy from start to finish. As their wedding planners here at Jackson & June Events, we had the honor of guiding them through the planning and design process, and bringing their beautiful vision to life with heart, detail, and intention.

A Warm October Day Filled with Excitement

Held in early October, the weather gave us the best of Georgia— warm sunshine without the scalding summer heat. From the moment guests arrived, the energy was high and stayed that way all night long. Caroline and Jake were full of joy and completely present with one another and their guests.

Caroline wore a stunning off-the-shoulder gown with intricate lace details, while Jake and his groomsmen looked sharp in classic black tuxes and bowties. The bridesmaids wore satin mocha-toned dresses in varied silhouettes that brought softness and style to the wedding party. Their color palette, browns, beiges, whites, blush, soft greens, and hints of mauve, set the tone for an elevated yet approachable celebration with warmth in every corner.

Ceremony and Cocktail Hour at Summerour Studio

Caroline and Jake chose Summerour Studio for its stunning mix of European-inspired courtyard charm and warm industrial interiors. The courtyard served as the perfect cocktail hour setting with its overgrown elegance, while inside, guests were greeted with character, texture, and thoughtful design.

During cocktail hour, guests were treated to meaningful personal touches like custom napkins printed with the couple’s handwritten love notes and a drawing of their beloved pup. The vibes were set even further with the addition of a live saxophone player, who joined in during the DJ set later in the night to create an unforgettable entertainment moment.

Layered, Textural Reception Design with a Statement Installation

Designing the reception space at Summerour Studio was one of the highlights of this wedding. We worked closely with Caroline and Jake to develop a layered, textured look with multiple different tablescapes that alternated throughout the room. Each table felt unique, yet cohesive: flower mounds of hydrangeas, organic ceramic bud vases, elevated arrangements with draping amaranthus, and lush floral meadows at the base of softly glowing table lamps.

Romantic lighting played a huge role, with table lamps, taper candles, pillar candles, and votives creating a soft, immersive glow. We also upgraded the chairs to a light cane-backed style that added instant elegance. Our favorite moment? The dramatic hanging installation over the black and white checkered dance floor, a mix of disco balls, amaranthus, and greenery designed by Araiza Florals, that created a breathtaking centerpiece above the party.

As planners and designers, we always say linen upgrades are worth it when the budget allows and Caroline and Jake’s wedding proved how impactful they can be. We alternated between patterns, solids, and textures to create a varied look.

Dancing the Night Away

The high energy from earlier in the day only amplified when the party kicked off. With Sound Insight Pro manning the DJ booth and a saxophonist weaving in and out of the music, the dance floor stayed packed all night long.
